Product Themes and RecognitionsThemes and recognitions for the product programs are developed by the licensed companies providing the products and approved by Girl Scouts of the USA. Themes and recognitions are designed to help direct the program goals, generate excitement, motivate participants and reward them for their accomplishments. 2007 Fall Product Sale ProgramTreasure Your Mind…and Your Health program theme has been developed for the QSP Reader’s Digest and Ashdon Farms portion of the 2007 fall product sale program. This year’s theme offers fun and exciting activities to help girls explore and develop self-esteem by focusing on how their minds, emotions, and bodies combine to make them who they are. Through the Eyes of Girl Scouts, Anything is Possible theme is utilized for the calendar portion of the 2007 fall product sale program. This year, girls have more choices than ever during the fall product program when it comes to recognitions! Click here to see the exciting recognitions that were selected for the 2008 Treasure Your Mind…and Your Health portion of the fall product sale program. 2007 Girl Scout Cookie Sale ProgramThe 2008 Make It A Hit cookie program theme uses theater arts to put girls as leaders in the spotlight. Girls will discover that it takes all kinds of talents to make their cookie production a spectacular success. While practicing and performing, girls develop self-confidence, use their imaginations and build self-esteem. Most importantly, girls will learn that hits don’t just happen – they are made… through imagination, rehearsal, commitment, teamwork and the sharing of every girl’s unique talents. In 2008, Girl Scouts who take orders for more than 600 boxes of cookies will become members of the Superstar Club! This group of girls will receive a camera lamp, and have their name entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Nintendo Wii gaming system and Bella, a giant plush Bichon dog. Members of the 1000 Club will receive an I-Pod Shuffle! Click here to see the exciting recognitions that were selected by the girls for the 2008 Make It A Hit cookie sale program.
